Float Participant Honoraria Form

We are happy to share that $50,000 has been set aside for honoraria for participation in the Float Pilot funding round. From the beginning of the process the intention of Float was to create a space of collaboration and open experimentation and we set aside these resources as a small appreciation for the community’s willingness to embark on this adventure together. This honorarium fund will be split up equally among those participants that opt in, with a per-person maximum of $1,000.


We appreciate that engagement with Float took many forms beyond funded projects, including attending weekly calls, offering process feedback, and supporting other projects. This honorarium fund is intended to recognize and thank all participants for their individual time and energy. We recognize that some participated through an organization while others donated personal time, and we trust everyone to decide whether to opt in for the honorarium.
Please submit the form below by December 31 to be included in this distribution. The honoraria will be paid via Open Collective, and we will send instructions for this (including the finalized amount-per-person) via email once submissions close.
The intention is to honor individual participants, directly, for their participation - rather than their employer - but if you would like for funds to go to your organization instead, you may indicate that below.
